I have been working out on the treadmill for a month now. I usually jog at 5mph for 20 minutes. there is no uneasyness as long as I am working out. but as soon as i get off it, and mind you afer properly cooling off, I feel dizzy. i have to hold on to the rails or anything nearest to me before i can find a chair quickly and sit down on it. As soon as i sit down the dizziness start waning and I begin to feel better. My head clears off within 30 secs of sitting down.

Unless you've manually changed your Ctrl-v mapping to something else like I did, got a headache with that one!

It means that you can enter the tab character by pressing CTRL-V before pressing the TAB key.

so you can grep -e '' yourFile

thanks for the tip. Been looking how to do that for some time now.

Congrats, man. Sounds like you're making great progress. I had a physical last week and I was telling the doctor about my recurring knee problem with longer runs, and he said it's not the knee itself, but more likely the ITB. Now I'm hopeful about getting back to running again, and being more careful about stretching the ITB and ramping up my miles slower...

Holy shit, you updated! I'm at a point where I can't run more than a couple miles without my knee flaring up on me. Hopefully my daily biking and walking around will tide me over...

Hey there!

Did you keep running or did you fall off the wagon? I looked under your "Running" category and this is the last entry filed.

I just got back into a routine with my girlfriend last week after almost a year of not working out at all. I've been running 30 minutes at a time, and am working up the mileage as best I can. My last run was 1.94 mi. in 30 minutes. After that run, I step off with a bit of vertigo, and research on that is what brought me to your blog.

I'm also getting interested in weight training and suppliments. Do you do any of that?

Take care,
JL!
