Programming software and hardware

One of the things I love about writing software is seeing the end result. Websites are great for that with instant gratification as to how it affects users.

But there’s a whole new level of joy that I’ve experienced lately in interfacing with hardware.

There’s nothing quite like writing code to interact with hardware and seeing a physical action occur as a result of your code. It takes it to a whole new level.

I’m taking that step a little further. Ordered an Arduino starter kit and I’m looking to build something with it. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while but just haven’t taken the leap.

Young at heart

There’s nothing like having back pain to make you feel old.

Tweaked something in my back on Tuesday and it’s still feeling sore. Hopefully it’ll be gone by the weekend.
